Our History
J4 srl was founded in 2018 as a consulting firm on energy efficiency and decarbonization, with the aim of offering the market high value-added skills, combining advanced academic research and direct experience in the industrial sector.
This first phase made us realize that the adoption of decarbonization and energy efficiency initiatives is limited not so much by the availability and efficiency of technologies, but by the difficulty of quickly and reliably estimating the economic impacts of the necessary (often substantial) investments for this type of intervention.
From this awareness, in 2023, j4energy became a startup and our Energy Co-Pilot was born, software capable of drastically reducing the time and complexity associated with identifying profitable decarbonization proposals for businesses.
At the end of 2023, j4energy closed an investment round of over one million euros, financed by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, RoboIT, and Pariter Partners, to accelerate technology development and market expansion.
